Be Compassionate & Humble
"Live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble." 1 Peter 3:8
The dictionary defines compassion as "sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it." We can't be compassionate if we are only focused on ourselves. We are capable of great compassion. However, we have the tendency to be less sympathetic in our everyday lives. We must remember that the next person we meet could be experiencing one of the worst days of their lives. Wouldn't it be nice if we could help turn it around for the better rather than making it worse? Dedicate ourselves to showing more sympathy and compassion to those we meet~
